Automated device for inspection of geometrical parameters of pipe ends and bevel is designed to be used in the production line of longitudinally welded steel pipes for main oil product pipelines and main gas and oil pipelines from 508 up to 1422 mm in diameter, wall thickness of which varies from 7.0 up to 50.0 mm. The device ensures the carrying out of continuous inspections of geometrical parameters of pipe ends and bevel with specified capacity and accuracy.

Parameters to be measured by the device: Outside diameter of pipe ends; Inside diameter of pipe ends; Wall thickness of pipe ends; Perpendicularity of pipe ends; Radial joint displacement; Theoretical circularity deviation; Out-of-roundness of pipe ends; Measurement of geometrical parameters of pipe bevelled ends; Difference of pipe inside diameters between pipe ends; Difference of pipe outside diameters between pipe ends.
